When I get a lot of feedback comments on my PRs or MRs, I actually feel more exited and happy to work on that task.
Why?
Because it means I’m getting to see different perspectives from my teammates, other corrections, points I might have missed while implementing the ticket, and test cases I hadn’t even considered at first.
Even more than that, I get to learn how the team works, their styles, their thought processes, their standards, and how the give approvals, and how they ship.
It also gives me the chance to explain or defend my approach when I believe it’s still the right one.
So be happy when you get a lot of comments on your PRs or MRs, don’t feel discouraged or sad, even if it feels stressful at first. That’s where real learning and growth happen.
